As a participant in Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in summer of 2007, Miss Narooz received coaching from various members of the Apple Hill Chamber Players and other renowned performers - Elise Kuder, Eric Stumacher, and Rupert Thompson.

A member of Tapestry Jazz combo in 2006-2007, she performed in numerous venues around the city of Calgary. Violin also performed solo recitals, musicals, and participated in chamber concerts in Calgary, AB and the state of New Hampshire.

In 2008 Miss Narooz performed with the Centre Street Church Choir Orchestra and continued playing as she joined the Front Row Centre theatrical group in two of their productions, Nine and Fiddler on the Roof. 

In 2009, she worked towards both the grade eight and theory RCM examinations and passed with honors (Practical exam) and honors with distinction (Theory exam).

Currently, Violin is teaching private flute lessons at Rocky Mountain College. She is also enjoying performing with the North Regional Centre Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Jonathan Schorr as well as the Mount Royal Chambre Flutes under the leadership of Mrs. Lucie Jones.



With four years teaching experience, Violin continues 
to share her love for music through private teaching, doing 
school workshops with TheClinicLine, and freelance performances.

Violin Narooz received her Bachelor of Arts in Music majoring in flute performance from Rocky Mountain College. 

Violin was the principal flutist of the Rocky Mountain College Choir and Orchestra from 2002-2007. Learning from expert instructors such as Lucie Jones and under the direction of Henric Idestrom, she traveled performing extensively at several locations around Canada and the United States.
